METEOROPATHY
Acupressure on the Mysa Mat and Pillow as a natural remedy for meteoropathy or seasonal fatigue
Here is how to use the Mysa acupressure mat to treat seasonal fatigue in the comfort of your own home.
This particular use of our Mysa mat is ideal for all those who, as the weather changes (from season to season or even within a shorter period of time), experience a worsening of their chronic conditions, a decline in performance, increased fatigue, sleep disorders, etc.
You are, in other words, a meteoropathic person.
Acupressure on the Mysa mat and pillow can boost your energy levels and improve circulation as well as the way your body and mind respond to a change of season or weather.
Here is how many natural wellbeing experts, who routinely use our Mysa, have suggested the mat be used to successfully treat this disorder.
And a great deal of regular Mysa users have indeed told us it has worked for them!
Most of them have reported feeling energized and almost “forgetting” about their seasonal fatigue for a prolonged period of time. It is therefore time to disclose this methodology in this Mysa Tutorial.
How to use the Mysa Acupressure Mat for an energizing effect:
There are two stages:
Stage one:
Stand on the Mysa mat for a session of Foot Reflexology.
To begin with, stand on the Mysa Mat, which should be placed on a hard surface such as the floor. Follow the instructions contained in the foot reflexology section.
Stage two:
Here, you can use the pillow only (ideally our Mysa ThermoMag Pillow, i.e. the one with bio-magnets, which are quite useful for this purpose), but it would be preferable to use both mat and pillow.
Place your Mysa mat or pillow on a not-too-soft surface (a carpet or an armchair) and lie on it in such a way as to apply pressure on the base of the skull. The mat can be rolled up or placed on an armrest or cushion in order to better target the nape/lower skull.
Alternatively, you can use your hand to press the pillow against the base of the skull and the forehead too.
Timing and length of each exercise:
20 minutes (ten minutes of foot reflexology and ten of application of the mat or pillow) twice a day – it is strongly recommended to have your sessions in the morning.
It would be advisable to start 1-2 days before any forecast change in the weather and then continue in order to bolster up your newfound wellbeing and increased energy levels.
Here are the areas of the body that should be targeted by acupressure in order to combat seasonal fatigue:
